i couldn't find the place to introduce myself, so i will here...wherever here is. i'm mary, i love to read, so my husband got me the sony ereader and i could go broke buying books for it. check you later, he bought me a $50 gift card from barnes & Noble, and i'm in a hurry!

Also, you can borrow eBooks from public libraries. There is no cost and you get to keep the book for 21 days.

Good to have your company, Mary. Whatever your husband bought for you is likely to be top whack. Sony hardware is supoerb. Sandly, though, its library software ain't. Could I suggest your download the free Calibre library software here: http://www.calibre-ebook.com? Most of us here seem to use it (in fact it has two million users worldwide), and it knocks spots off anything else out there. Happy Sonying and best wishes. Neil
