Ebook properties

Hi
I have hopefully a simple question in Calibre I have a long list of books in my library all epubs some have DRM and some don't, how can I tell which ones have drm? I was hoping there might be something in the view window or a column on the library list that would tell me. At the moment the only way is to try and convert one to something else.

Welcome to Mobileread and calibre, melmac.

I don't think there's a marker in the fields to tell you, but the easiest way I check is to click the View button (or the link in the details window) to see if I can open/read it in calibre's built-in reader.

Ah of course the ones I was trying were all DRM free just found one thats not and it wouldn't view thanks for that

I would recommend adding a custom column so you can mark books as DRM or DRM Free as you go. This way you don't forget and it will save you some time instead of opening the viewer repeatedly.
