PRS-600 Problems reading PDF on PRS-600

Hi,

I am having issues with a PDF on my PRS-600. I looks fine when I have the text on the smallest setting, but when I change to medium or large text, not wanting to go blind, words seem to go missing from sentences, maybe the ends of rows getting cut off.

Viewing the PDF on my computer, and on the reader on small, it reads fine so I don't think it's the PDF that's the problem.

Also on the larger text, there will be a few pages of large text, then randomly a page of small text of what I just read (or tried to read with words randomly missing). Weird.

Anybody experienced anything similar? Anybody got any solution?

Most likely it is a terrible PDF. PDF is so terrible, terrible I wish it was extinct.

When you view it on your computer or in "S" font size there is no reflowing happening. When enlarging fonts, the reflowing takes place. PDF is not suitable for reflowing and it depends on PDF itself how it suceeds. In your case you have got inadequately formatted PDF.
For example, I have many PDFs that split words in lines.

Solution: try to convert the PDF to different format before moving to e-reader. I would go with OCR.

PDF on a reader sucks! Any time you change the base font size, the PDF reflows the text, and does an terrible job.

Two steps to some minor relief.
1. Strip the DRM
1. Get a copy of Briss to remove the white border.
