Can somebody please tell me . . . ?

How I stop getting emails from every thread I add a comment to. They're jamming up my inbox and I don't want them. I've tried everything in user CP, but I can't find out what to do.

User Control Panel/Settings and Options/Edit Options... there's a drop down menu which includes option to not be emailed. Thanks for question, reminded me that I kept meaning to look for the "off" switch...

Go User CP>List Subscriptions, near the bottom is a drop down menu Selected Threads in the drop down choose no email notification then Go.

This should stop the emails

The box is called "Default Thread Subscription Mode" look for that one and choose to not receive mails.

CP->Edit Options->Default Thread Subscription Mode.

Set it to "No email notification" or "Do not subscribe." I also had to delete all my pre-existing thread subscriptions to get the new settings to take. Drove me batty for quite awhile.

Thanks for that as well... I've now implemented your suggestion with my original comment and hopefully that's done it... oh and don't forget to scro;; to the bottom of page and Save Changes...

I send emails from mobilread to a mobileread folder, which I never check. ipso facto, no emails.
