I don't believe that they insert love scenes into German translations.
Ich glaube nicht, dass man Liebesszenen bei der Übersetzung dazu erfindet.

German's most favourite genre is mystery, or so I heard.
Ich habe gehört, dass der Deutschen liebstes Genre der Krimi ist.

And I don't read romance novels anyway.
Und ich lese sowieso keine Liebesromane.

Ha, interesting find, AprilHare. Never heard about that before. Any examples given? Not my line of reading anyway.
