Looks like this has been around, on and off, for a while. Just noticed a post on SF Signal that it's still available as a free ebook.

I downloaded it a while ago and found it badly formatted to the point of unreadable on my PRS-505. (Huge margins, based on em so they got bigger when the text did.) I'm sure it'd be fine after running it through Calibre; I haven't gotten around to it.

Interesting... Haven't loaded onto my iPad yet, but it looks just fine with Calibre's reader (through first 50 or so pages). I'll load it later tonight onto the iPad.

Just loaded downloaded epub (not run through Calibre) into iBooks and it looks good through the first 50 or so pages. Strange you're having problems with the Sony.

The Starfarers .mobi file looks good on the Kindle4PC. Just checked the omnibus (Starfarers Quartet) which I bought, on my Kindle. At least in the first 20%, I couldn't find anything untoward.
