organizing news feeds

currently i use calibre to fetch and upload a couple news feeds (cnn.com, the economist, a couple more).

i managed to file my books into a few Collections, but i noticed i can't do this for these feeds.

is there a way to organize or are they going to clutter my home screen?

Once you're read a news feed, and uploaded a new one.........I believe they are put "automatically" in a collection called something like "periodicals", for you.

It's usually/always at the end of your book list.

Older issues get archived in 'Periodicals: Back Issues' so you'll only have one of any given periodical on your Home screen list. Eventually back issues will get deleted as new ones arrive, unless you flag them to 'Keep'.

But no, you can't put them in Collections, and arguably this is a better solution since it is automatic.

The Calibre Kindle Collections plugin is supposed to be able to do it, but I've read the tutorial and still can't get it to work right- one of the hazards of getting old I guess.
