download ebook to main memory issues

Hello,

I have the pocket edge & i use calibre to download books to it. i also use this app : http://andy.aspellclark.org.uk/bibliotheca.html that is made to make it easier to read meta data with calibre & pocket edge.

I seem to be having issues with the fact that not all the books show in the library(bibliotheca) when i save to main memory. For exemple i will transfer 10 books at a time to the pocket edge main memory from calibre. only 1 2 or 3 will show in the library (bibliotheca). What i do not understand is that from one time to another it is never the same books that will show in the library. Also, when i check the pocket edge directory on the computer all 10 books show has beign saved but only a few will show in the library(bibliotheca).

Does anyone know what the heck is going on. This doesnt seem logic at all.

ps. i tried sending books to main device one by one or by batch same result each time.......

On first glance this question would seem to be best served in a Pocket Edge or Bibliotheca forum.

Did you check if the books are really transferred (as in "looked with a file manager in the folder they're supposed to go")?

Hello,
i have tried to download them to main memory of the pocket edge & they show there in the file manager system but for some reason the bibliotheca program only takes 1 or 2 when i open the app. (never the same books from 1 download to another).

also i tried to save them to the library root directory in the pocket edge but they dont show up .... (they have to be added by the divice itself into the library they cannot be transfer from the pc to the library system)

finaly i decide not to use the bibliotheca app it is useless... i have done what i wanted to avoid from the beginning which is downloading all the books to the ebook library manualy. i am able to get the description of each book ( but it is a bit time consuming as i have to do them by batch otherwise the device freezes. (i got about 3000 books to move so i guess it is a little to ask that they be done in a one shot deal).
