Using Calibre2Opds to create a catalog. Now I'm guessing the only way to download the book would be through the browser.

Of course by doing that you aren't going to get it put into the library.

So I'm wondering if there is a way to download a book through all this, and have it show in the library.

I was trying to do it without having it connected to a computer

Using an Un-rooted Nook Color.

The Quickoffice pro app has become available totday, and contains Dropbox support.
The missing sync app supports syncing files using Wifi.

I do not use these apps, so I do not know if one those apps will work for you.
