Boyle, Jack: Boston Blackie. 5 May 08
Written in 1919, this is the first and only Boston Blackie book written by Jack Boyle. A gentleman thief (where have we heard that one before Arsene Luprin.)
Since the original book there have been many films, a radio series, a TV series, comic books, and even references in Jimmy Buffet songs. A quick read, not unlike a lot of Dr Don's postings. There's a restaurant chain named Boston Blackies, too. It's always so crowded I've not yet been able to try it. Guess I'll try reading the book instead.
