Mobipocket?

Is it possible to read a book that is in Mobipocket format on a K2?

If so, how would you go about getting it on the Kindle? I have to admit, I've only d/l from Amazon so I have no idea how to go about it. But this book I want to read seems to be available in every format BUT Kindle. Weird, because book one is on Kindle and so is book three. But not book two. Ugh.

Thanks for the help...and if it IS doable - I'd appreciate it if you could keep the instructions as simple as possible! Since I'm a first timer and all...

The K2 can read DRM-free MOBI ebooks. If you buy a ePub (say), then you first need to strip the DRM (encryption), if any, and then format shift from ePub to MOBI. Calibre is the best tool for the latter, and you can add 3rd party plugins to Calibre to strip the DRM on import. See Apprentice Alf's Blog for more info on DRM.
