can an ereader be registered to two Adobe IDs?
As far as I understand, the same household is de facto allowed to register more than one device - at any rate, no shortage of books in the house, so there is no need to read the same book at the same time and infringe any EULA just in case. However it seems silly to swap readers every time, and it would be much more convenient if both my husband and I could put the same book on two different devices. If each of us has a different Adobe ID, is it possible to register each reader to both IDs?
Thanks! |

Nope, one ID per e-reader; multiple e-readers per ID. On a computer with multiple users, each user can have their own ID, but they can't share their books with each other. Ah, the joys of DRM schemes.

Paola, if I don't get you totally wrong what you're intending to do: it is possible to download the same book to two different devices (=two IDs). I think that is the meaning of allowing to register more than one device. Just try it!

Thanks Billi, I thought abot doing so, but I am not sure whether registration leaves some "trace" even after you de-register a device, and I am totally useless with Linux in case something goes wrong with the device. My planned solution is to use the same id for both devices - even with the three readers in the house we have room for more with a single id. But if I change my mind and feel brave to have a go, I'll report back on the "aftermath".
