Long time movie buff here in the house. Hope I'm wecolmed to this place with open minds. It's been awhile since I've read a book. I did for awhile back in the day, but now it's time for a life change. Books are the way to go to see a different light. Movies are becoming dull as books are becoming brighter. Philip is my name and books are my new game.

Good to have your company, Dozer. Movies are great, but they're presented on a plate with all visuals in place. Books allow your imagination to run riot.

I remember a TV interview with a young girl many years ago when television was introduced to her remote Scottish island. The interviewer was amazed when she said that TV was OK but radio was better. He hasked why. And she simply said: "The pictures are clearer on radio."

I never read much until, back in the mid-70's I noticed a novel in a bookstore by John MacDonald called The Dreadful Lemon Sky. Although I wasn't much of a reader in those days, I was intrigued with the title so bought and read it and have been hopelessly addicted to reading ever since.
