Kindle Won't Update...
I am trying to update a kindle that I own from 2.3.3 to 2.5.x
It fails on step 1 of 10... I tried the ;dumpmessages trick mentioned in the forums here I found I have the following problem: /opt/amazon/ebook/config/framework.mario.conf" : checksum failure I don't ever remember installing any screensaver hack. But I tried to use any and all of the screensaver uninstall .bin files that I could find. Some installed some didnt Each time, I retried to update to 2.5.x and each time I still got the mario.conf error in the log file. Is there anything I can do at all? |

Solved the problem by running an uninstall on the usbnetwork hack. Others had said that the mario.conf was related to the calendar hack, but for me, it was the usbnetwork hack that prevented the mario.conf from passing the checksum...
