A New Addiction!
Trying to find a place for all the books I have was becoming impossible, so - suck it and see! I ordered a Trekstor 7 EBook Player! I've only had it 24 hours and I'm hooked. Quality of this hardware seems really not bad. On the negative side, I'm going to have to stop reading in bed as the weight of the Trekstor is heavier than a paperback. I'm not so much worried about damaging the Trekstor, but I'm more concerned for my nose!

I'm now seriously infected! Is there a cure against "ebookitis". I've just bought a Kindle 3 from Amazon and it has been delivered in under 3 days from the States to Austria - incredible service! In reference to my earlier posting the Kindle is for reading in bed to prevent any further physical injuries! The Trekstor 7 I'll still use, or my nearest and dearest will borrow it.

I don't know if anyone has my summer holiday blues when I take upwards of 10 books with me as hand luggage! That's one little problem I no longer have, thank heavens!

Hi tearest and welcome to MobileRead.

We have tried to help members with ebookitis in the past. A group of us would appear at the 'addicts' house and attempt an intervention. Problem is that sooner or later someone would ask the addict what author they were reading so much. Typically several of us hadn't read that author and we'd ask for a copy of one of his or her books to take a look.

Pretty soon we're all sitting around reading having totally forgotten the intervention and the ebookitis issue.
