Newbie with an etiquet question

Hello,

I'm lcole, and I am happy to find a forum that discusses EBOOKS.

It's been a long time since I was active in forums, and I have forgotten a lot about posting in a forum.

I am here today because I have a question. Of course it is likely that part of my question has already been answered, but I still want to post it.

Should I read the hundreds of posts related to my subject matter and post TO the one most related to my question? Should I go to the end of the thread and post following another post several years old?

Should I just start a new thread that may be similar or related to an older thread?

Where do I post?

Hi lcole and welcome to MobileRead. I recommend you browse through the threads in the section related to you question. If you see one that closely matches what you are looking for then add a post. Otherwise, start a new thread.

We're a pretty easy going group of bookworms here and no one is going to get upset if you repeat a question.

The only thing that seems to bother book worms around here is getting questions posted in the proper sub-forums. So I really would not worry about re-posting old questions, I have never heard anyone get peeved about that like I have heard others at other forums do. So what I would recommend that you do is to look at mobileread.com/forums and the list of the sub-forums and attempt to get your questions in the correct pigeon hole, although don't worry if you get that wrong, these things happen.
