Calibre Chrome App

Hi,

I want to try my hands on making some free Chrome App. I use Calibre a lot for managing my Kindle. Was thinking of developing a Calibre Chrome App.

Any thoughts or suggestions?

I'm assuming he's talking about an extension for the chrome web browser.

The OP's most likely a she (judging by her name). The only useful calibre related browser extension I can think of is one to convert the page you are currently viewing into an ebook in your calibre library. See for example the Bookit firefox extension.

Interesting - I was think that the OP was refering to a version of Calibre running on the Chrome OS.

That would still be running in the Chrome browser as an extension. The Crome OS is essentially a bare bones Linux install for running the Chrome browser. Last I heard it doesnt give you native access for coding.
