Content removing archived items permently?

Is it possible to permently remove the archived items that are in the kindle?
I am trying to set my Kindle up as a study bible so I don't need or want other books not of my choosing.

Caution!!!! Once removed, they are permanently gone - if you want them back for any reason, you would have to REPURCHASE them.

They are not taking any room, other than appearing the menu.

You can go ONLINE to Amazon's ManageMyKindle site and remove books.

If you remove it, you have to buy it again. I recommend that you just leave Archived Items there and ignore it.

If they're in your archive, chances are, they are of your choosing.

I suppose you could also register the Kindle to a new Amazon account that you use only for...whatever purpose this is for.....If you ever want your archive back on the Kindle, just re-register to the other account.

That being said, I have occasionally gone in and permanently deleted books from my account. Mostly freebies that I regretted having tried....
