Hi everyone

I've had my Kobo for a while and have struck a few problems since upgrading to v1.8. I discovered this site while looking for a solution/s and I'm really impressed with the helpful tone of all the posts.

Anyway, I've seen several threads that seem similar to my issues so I'll see where they lead and then see about resolving my small problems.

Here's an outline of my problems, so if anyone can point me in the right direction that would be appreciated

1. All my preloaded books have a status of 'open', can't seem to change this
2. Can't hide the preloaded books and only show my separately loaded books (Calibre/Whitcoulls). I've seen a thread on this so I'll see where that goes.
3. Having problems with my SD card that worked fine with 1.4. - the reader looks for the content, then returns to say no books found on the reader at all - anywhere, no preloaded books, no books I'd copied via Calibre to the main memory - nothing. Removing the card doesn't change the no book message but a paper clip reset brings back the preloaded books plus the books loaded via Calibre. Tried a brand new SD card with the same result.
4. Books I've purchased from Whitcoulls (kobo partner) are locked. Seen lots of threads about this so I'm sure I can sort this one out.

Regardless of all the above, I'm still reading and still think the Kobo is great.
