Hi all. I'm a geek who loves toys that can read content. My ppc6700 screen is getting a bit small for my eyes, so an ebook reader looks like the way to go. I am looking for one main feature though, and would like to know if any readers on the market can perform.
"Can any ebook reader search for words, phrases or filenames such as the windows "search" function can?" I'd use the ebook reader for technical info as much as fiction and the search would be critical. Thanks ewayde |

Hi Ewade,
The eBookWise, offered by Fictionwise, can also search for text. While the eBookWise is older technology, I find it a useful tool. It's $139 for the unit plus a 64MB card at www.ebookwise.com. Rob Preece Publisher, www.BooksForABuck.com |

The Iliad is the only eInk reader on the market which has text input. All the other are pure "readers", with no input capabilities.
