				HI - new member

have been reading online so long, have tried a KOBO handheld which is OK, tried the SONY, and then I got an Iphone4, never expecting it would become my favorite reader. The display is beautiful and easy on the eyes, even in the small size. I post to Instapaper often during the day and then have all my articles in the queue for the subway trip to and from work with the Instapaper app. It is my curated paper.- I am looking forward to buying/borrowing some books and am interested in peoples favorite apps and why. I am contemplating an IPAD as my reader but maybe it is superfluous. I am interested in sources of ebooks and general talk about the topic so I think I am in the right place.

Since you are contemplating apple products I would recommend that you posting the apple section of this forum. Personally my favorite reader is the Barns and Nobles becasue of the well organized menu structure. Others have told me that the ipad is not real good at electronic book reading and is rather overkill for that job.

Good to have your company, Taylor. Always great to hear when someone finds just the right reader for themself -- it's very much a horses for courses game. Very best wishes. Neil
