I'm new to Mobile read. I am interested in hearing what others have to say about using the Kindle to surf the internet for maps in France.

Personally I disagree with posting this in the Kindle section since Anne does not have a reader at this point.

My advice is forget about the readers for this task, my blackberry does an excellent job of maping and it does a great job of maping france.

Good to have your company, AnneMarie. Yup some readers -- especially e-ink -- do have a problem still with detailed maps. Why not post your question in the 'Which One Should I Buy?' sub forum here for quick and expert advice? Good luck and best wishes. Neil
