Hello...
Just stopping in to say hello to everyone. I'm anijh and I've been a forum member/lurker for awhile. I've learned a few things from reading this forum and decided it's time I introduced myself. I own both a nook and a Kindle.

Hello anijh and welcome to MR. This is a wonderful place - maybe something you could consider to be a fringe benefit of the love of reading, and the joy of new encounters. A Kindle and a Nook. Do you have a preference between the two?

How would your Kindle compare to your Nook?

The reading experience is pretty equal between the two readers in my opinion. I don't think a person can go wrong with either device. I rate the Kindle a little ahead of my nook and that's because of the battery life. I'm not one who remembers to charge a device everyday so the Kindle is what you'll usually spot me toting around town.
I do like the nook's way of organizing books a little better. I'm not sure if it's because I owned the nook first or what but I really like that the books are tucked away in "my library" and are not dumped on a page like they are on the Kindle. Until you organize it into collections, the Kindle library pages can look a bit messy since it's mixed with games and other content. Last edited by anijh; 03-11-2011 at 12:40 PM. |
