Scumm (Day of the Tentacle): How to save game?

Hi, I have successfully installed Scumm and play Days of the Tentacle on it.
But I can't save my games, means I always have to start from the beginning.
Is there any way to allow saving a game somehow? I guess you need one of the missing hardware buttons to access the save menu... Is there any workaround available?

If there's a menu to access you need to use SoftKeys or Button Savior.

Thanks, that works.
Is there also a way to get the virtual keyboard? It does not pop up when I need it to enter the filename. I have a workaround by putting any letter as an extra button to softkeys, but the virtual keyboard would be way better.
