Hello from Massachusetts
I'm Marc and i have a Nook Color. I originally bought the Kindle 3, but it really didn't fit my needs.
I like to read at night in bed and don't have a reading lamp so I was using one of those clip on lights. Didn't like it. So I exchanged it for a Nook Color.
The first day I rooted it and disabled the cell standby. I can get about 2 days worth of reading, surfing the web, etc from one charge. I'm happy now.
And the best part is that I didn't lose any of my Kindle books because I'm running the Android Kindle app.
