bol.com xxxx.zip

(Now is RESOLVED, I did not install ADE before to download the book, sorry for the rush in writing)

I downloaded the content I found on my desktop a kind of zip file.
So i tried to open and I noticed some html data , so I thought probably is an epub as stated on the site. I tried to rename the file, activating from folder options in windows the item visualize file extensions, and so I renamed in .epub:

so I tried to open the file with Calibre and does not work, could be that there is a DRM protection? anyway I downloaded ADE and tried to open the epub(renamed file) in ade, namely to add the book and I am receiving this message
Umberto Eco De begraafplaats van Praag.epub:
IO Error on local file open

Path:
mypath\Umberto Eco De begraafplaats van Praag.epub

Event Detail:
Error #2038
--- end ---

I am really disappointed, since I am not student anymore I want to buy books, that is fair, but after I spent 15 EUR, I would like now to read it!

What you need to do is rename the file from xxxx.zip to xxx.epub. Then it will be fine.

MSIE is garbage when it comes to poorly configured websites. Grab yourself a copy of Firefox and that won't be a problem.

Dear Penguin,
please do not tempt me..
I am not in iexplore but seamonkey.. and believe me I cry for nostalgia when I used to visit the web with elinks from command line by my slack without x11.
For people that do not have enough time, xp on the notebook is best. Let alone in trying to use wine or worse vmware looking why the usb cable is not recognized with mount procedures to upload books..
anyway I respect proprietary files, but I do not like DRM, I think that people that buy books are largely more responsible than the average a niche in comparison with mp3 fans, so I think a lot of people that love a good writer will pay for a book. any way I do not want to be OT or propose flames.
regards
