Know the frustrating feeling of trying to remember a title?

Yeah, because it's been bugging me for awhile. I remember someone in a far-away forum talking about a fantasy series which, according to her, was "really good". Now, the thing is, I can no longer remember the title, but i /think/ i remember her saying that the title is only ONE word, and it may or may not have started with the letter F, if my bloody memory serves me right.

I think what got me interested is because the main protagonist was interested in men. It's hard to find good fantasy fiction with gay main characters.

Now, the thing is I caaaan't remember the title, and so I'm hoping that someone here might at least have an idea, because I didn't give much to go on, did I?

or if not, at least share that hideous frustration of trying to remember something that's on the tip of your brain.

Do a quick search -- we've got a thread here for finding a book (I think the title goes something like that) when you remember bits about it. If I find it, I'll put a link here for you. But I have to go to bed (about an hour ago) so I might not find it tonight.

cool, i'll try that. it's been bugging me for such a long time now (whenever i think about it, actually), that i can't concentrate on anything else

There are enough book readers here (people, I mean) that answers frequently are found!
