First Poetry Book: Despising Van Gogh

I am pleased to finally have published my first book of poetry, entitled Despising Van Gogh. Since the question always comes up, let me just say right now: no I do not despise Van Gogh

I have been writing poetry seriously for 20 years now and finally decided to just publish my first book (and definitely not my last).

I am pleased to send a free copy to the first 10 people who are interested. After all, what poet writes poetry to actually make money? The book can be purchased for the Kindle on amazon.com for 3.99.

My poems have been called many things, some "hilarious", others "disturbing" and often "excellent." Whether any of that is true or not is not up to me, of course. It could be full of doggerel. But, I am happy with the outcome and have begun working on my next book.

This is my first "self-promotion" so I hope I did not break any protocols. If I did, please let me know and I will quickly fix the problem.

Well ... not breaking rules, per se ... still, I'm not sure what that's supposed to be, but I think you'd better edit it. As a general rule, forum software dislikes HTML.
