Matthew Chisholm. Scottish wrinklie. Have Had a Sony ereader for a couple of years. Been to S.Africa recently and want to read, read, read about it. Looked for "Jock of the Bushveld" by Percy Fitzpatrick but it's not in the forum list. Looks like I'll have to buy it from Waterstones. Shock, horror!

Welcome Matthew, from and English member. I read Jock of the Bushveld at school in SA, and loved it to bits. It's obviously no longer in copyright, published in 1922, so you just might be able to find it for free. £7.99 at Amazon seems a lot to pay to me... (although I've just found another version - Kindle Edition - for £2.15 here http://www.amazon.co.uk/Jock-of-the-.../dp/B004C44QAK. You can always convert it using Calibre).
