Beta in Pdf

Hi all-

I'm not sure where to ask this question, so forgive me for starting a new thread. I've run into a bug in the pdf viewer in the kindle dx showing the letter beta in files compiled from latex. So, I'm looking into getting a pocketbook 902 or 903, but I'd appreciate if someone could check to see if the letter beta shows up ok in either of the pdf viewers on the pocketbook.

Perhaps post this in the Kindle section, that would be likely the most logical option.

btw, multi posting the same question will only raise the ire of many people, just for future reference.

The beta appears as kindle(overlap) if I read that file with AdobeViewer. But it looks fine with pdfviewr. I guess it is a problem of AdobeViewer.

Thanks. The reason I posted here (instead of the kindle section) is that I thought people with pocketbooks would be more likely to read posts here. Sorry, and again, thanks so much.
