Hi all!

My name is Faith (as you probably tell from my user id). So I hope to get a dedicated eReader in the near future. I currently have an iPod Touch. I have a read a couple of eBooks on it. It seemed like I read a bit more quickly on it and I did like only having to touch my screen to flip pages. What I didn't like, however, was the small screen size. So I still read the overwhelming majority of my books as old fashioned pulp books. I think getting an eReader with a much larger screen would definitely make a difference for me. Also, we are running out of room on our bookshelves, so an eReader would probably give us some much needed space.

A member from a completely different forum on a completely different topic (figure skating) suggested this forum as a great place to gain more information about eReaders. So here I am. I'm glad to be here.

Welcome, Faith. There are a lot of knowledgeable people on this site. I'm sure they can help you choose an ereader. I have a Kindle and love it. It's so easy to use. And dangerously easy to download books. Dangerous to the pocketbook, that is.
