kobo service

The Kobo reader customer service is the worst I have ever encountered. When I purchase books but they do not appear on my e-reader. Calls to customer service have been met with "I'm moving this problem to a tier two; someone will contact you" Well I'm STILL waiting. No wonder people buy Kindles. I have sent emails, asked to speak to supervisors but "no one is available"

Hi ridgerunner and welcome to MobileRead. I liked Kobo when they started but they do seem to have gone downhill

Good to have your company, Ridgerunner. Why not post your specific questions in the Kobo-dedicated sub forum here? Quicker and fuller response from experienced users and much better than anyone's customer 'service' depts.

I think Kobo (hardware and software folks and unused to book retail) were taken by surprise by the explosion in demand. I noticed in the publishing trade press this weekend that they advertised a whole wodge of Kobo-related full-time jobs at their Toronto HQ. Hopefully things will get better for Koboers as a result.

Good luck and best wishes. Neil

My Aluratek Libra Pro does that sometimes, while its not a kobo. Try rebooting your Kobo after downloading the new book. My Libra Pro needs to be rebooted after I transfer a book.

Hi, welcome to MR from the Netherlands. Yes, sometimes helpdesks can be a pain. Try to sort your problem by asking about it on the Koboforum. Good luck and hang on.
