XDA Deves release Honycomb 3.0 nookcolor port to the public!
Folks over at XDA have done it again, in a short order they have ported Honeycomb 3.0 to the nook color.

Looks like I have something to keep me busy from reading on my Nook again Honeycomb on my Nook Color.. sweet. |

I've got Honeycomb running now. The UI is very nice, and obviously a better fit for tablets. I can't wait until I can load it from memory instead of SD. It doesn't seem too slow either, for a development version. I imagine it will be improved when Honeycomb is actually released to the public.

There is a vid on the XDA forum where the user shows that the HoneyComb image is running on the overclocked kernel. That might explain why the nook is responsive.
