Ich sach dann mal Hallo!
..bin der Neue.
Nach dem ich hier schon sehr lange mitlese, habe ich mich durchgerungen nun doch das eine oder andere Mal meinen Senf dazu zu geben.

Bei den eLesern gehöre ich gewissermaßen zu den Sauriern.

Angefangen hat alles mit dem UrPalm, damals noch von US-Robotics.
War wohl so mitte der 90er, das Ding nannte sich Pilot hatte ein schwarz/weiss LCD das man invertieren und sogar temporär hintergrundbeleuchten konnte.
Darauf liesen sich leidlich ASCII-TXT Dateien lesen, aber ich war sofort infiziert.
Keine Frage, dass mich mein komplettes soziales Umfeld als völlig bekloppt bezeichnet hat. Immer hin habe ich viel Mitgefühl geerntet.
Das Ganze zog sich durch diverse Generationen von PDA´s, bis dann endlich ePaper kam.
Cybook und Sony PRS505 waren die die ersten Gehversuche.
Inzwischen bin ich bei der 9" Generation angekommen und lese auf
KindleDX und iPAD.
