I recently purchased a Pocketbook IQ and am generally very pleased with it. After some initial frustration getting the firmware update installed correctly I am anxious to purchase some new books. Has anyone has success using the Bookland.net site? So far I have found it to be totally useless! I have a $30 promotional credit and honestly can't use it.
First of all, the site is terrible with only one way to search for books. Literally thousands of books come up with about 6 per page, which is ridiculous. I started searching for books on Amazon instead, found one I was interested in, actually found it on bookland, but got a message that said "this book is not available in your country!" This happened several more times. I will appreciate any advice anyone has for using this site, or other recommendations. Maybe I should just install the Kindle app and use Amazon? Thanks! |

I had the same experience with the poor search and the 'not available' in my area issue. I haven't bothered with it since, I noticed they charge for some of the free titles preloaded on the IQ as well.
