PRS-500 vs. PRS-500U2
Can anyone tell me the difference between the two models?


I always thought the Sony Reader model number is PRS-500.
Now I saw one with PRS-500U2.

Looks like Sony have just changed the catalog number. There's absolutely no difference in the product that I can see.

Interestingly, my newer Reader is the PRS-500U2
This "U2" label is a type of bar-code lable that covers the previous PRS-500 designation that's on the box.
