Lost.Dir

In my Lost.Dir folder I have a BUNCH of folders totaling about 6 megs..........does anyone know if it's safe to delete these?

Google says that it is a directory for the recovery of files from a corrupted filesystem and/or a "Recycle Bin" for deleted files. Take a look inside and delete it all if you don't want to keep anything. The files aren't meant for the continued operation of the operating system.
