New to forum

Hi all,
New to forum. I own Kobo reader, had it for a few months.
Love the e-book.
Looking for some way of deleting (not hiding) the free books.
I figure that the few I'd like to keep could be downloaded again for free from somewhere.

Any ideas, please let me know.

Cheers
David

Welcome to Mobileread ....

I don't know the Kobo - so you'd be best looking in to the Kobo threads - see links on the main forum page.

Can you not attach to a PC, as a USB storage device, and use Windows/DOS ? - I do with my Gen3 and PB..

Good to have your company, Kiwi. Why not download the free Calibre libraey software (http://www.calibre-ebook.com)? You can store, catalogue and convert formats with that instanly and simply. When you download a particullar title to your kobo (via USB cable), you can delete it from your Kobo, but it remains in your Calibre collection for download again. You can also, of course, store there books you've yet to read without needing to carry them in your device itself. Great stuff. Good luck and best wishes. Neil

Hi all, Well since I said hello last night, my Kobo has froze after the latest download. Looks like it's got to go from New Zealand to Canada to be looked at.

Nothing will unfreeze it.

Wonder if I can use the local (Whilcoulls) agent to do this for me.
