Bought a used K4

Hey guys, I don't if this goes in here, so excuse if I am mistaken.

I recently bought a used Kindle 4. However, the screen is blank. I don't know what kind of hack the previous owner used, but I would like to start from zero. As if it were new from factory.

Is there a way to use putty (or other software) to analyze the folders and see what is wrong?

Warm regards and thanks beforehand,

Narkalen.

Just curious: what do you mean?

Edit - just for completeness: To get a completely "fresh" Kindle, perform a "normal" reset using the K4 UI. Then run Kubrick and check the option to erase the data on the internal partition when given the choice.

Well, excuse me if you did not understand. English is not my native tongue, so maybe I did not express myself correctly.

I used Kubrick live OS and my Kindle came back from the dead. Consequently, I was trying to explain how amazed I was at how incredible Kubrick worked.

When I saw my Kindle functioning completely, I almost cried. That's all.
