Kobo website doesn't like my debit master card

anyone else have this problem? My bank got bought by a bigger bank, and I got a new debit card, which is now a master card instead of a visa. I entered all my info correct and tried multiple times, but kobo doesn't like my new card! So annoying. Anyone know how I can fix this or do I need to write kobo off as ane book vendor?
ps My card has been working fine other wise.

I suggest you contact the bank and ask them what might be the problem.

I had a similar problem using a MasterCard gift card at the Borders e-book store (which is powered by Kobo in the back-end). A standard Visa worked fine.

I would raise the issue with Kobo support so at least they are aware of it. There are ongoing good deals from the kobobooks store as well as some content hard to find elsewhere.
