PRS-505 PRS-505 change firmware from US to UK?

hi, just picked one up and was going to put the Customiser on when noticed that i has firmware of 1.1 rather than the 1.2UK quoted by Customiser.
The firmware i have is 1.1.00.18040, can i change to a UK firmware 1.2.xxx before using the Customiser or should i leave it and use the 1.1US Customiser?

To the best of my knowledge there's no way to reflash the firmware between US and UK versions. I shouldn't worry about it; the only difference it makes is the date format (MM/DD rather than DD/MM).

does it matter which Customiser i use 1.1US or 1.2UK?

Been using the US version for years... I had my 505 from the US before they were even released in the UK... don't know about Customiser as don't/haven't used... I installed PRS+ anyway...
