I'm to new to think about rooting the nook for Android apps. However yesterday B&N released a package to android developers so they could start creating apps specifically for the nook. In addition to all the reading, I'm enjoying sideloading the podcasts that I subscribe to for my genealogy hobby so I can listen to them. Still learning all the things that I can use the nook for and all the places that books are available.
