My kindle won't 'see' my new books
I have a Kindle and have just added some books to my library but I can't 'see' them on my device. When I access my Kindle via calibre they're definitely on the device.

Can anyone tell me what I should do? It would be much appreciated.

Hi, welcome to MR from the Netherlands. If I ask too obvious questions, excuse me for that: did you fully charge your Kindle and did you press ' home''? You could also try a reboot (hold the on/off button for 15 sec. to the right, then wait till it reboots.....a little patience---and you see the guy under the tree with the empty space under it and the Kindle fills itself with your books).
Often that helps; if not, ask on the Kindleforum and you'll get some good answers.

Sometimes the Kindle will move new items to the end of the list of titles on the home screen, so your books might be several pages further down. I've had this happen a couple of times.

Have you put the books in the document folder on your Kindle. This is very important for them to show up.

this is off topic, but I'll tell you about my own experience. I had the same problem 2 days ago when I added some comic books using Calibre. the first book in 12 books series didn't appear even though I chose 'showing items by Most Recent First'. however, when I searched the title it appeared first on the result list.

Well, I just ignored that and went on with my reading. after that it appeared on the list as if nothing happened don't worry, kindle is crazy at times
