One Final Question

I hope. I've been searching on the forum & reading & reading but I'm not sure about down loading from my Mac to the Sony350. I have a Snow Leopard Mac. I will not likely be buying from the Sony store but from other places. What is the best software for handling this or don't I really need anything? As you can tell I'm confused..

I've been kind of spoiled & only bought direct from B&N & Amazon in the past. So this will be a new challenge for me. I just want to make sure it isn't complicated before I buy the prs350.

Calibre for Mac should be all you need.

Just keep in mind calibre doesn't handle DRM so if you are buying from kobobooks.com, for instance, you would have to strip the DRM or use ADE or the sony software.

Pomtroll, when you shop B&N you will have to strip the DRM as B&N puts their own DRM on epubs. Better you browse B&N and shop with Sony.

Contrary to most people here I have nothing to say against the Sony store. It is not as fancy as B&N and Amazon but has had everything I ever wanted so far for sometimes even better prices. When I shop using the Sony Reader Library the book will go directly into the Purchased section and can by synced with the reader in an instant. This function is very convinient.
