I was thinking about getting a Kindle for my Dad (in NZ) but wasnt sure where he could get books from because of the format. Where are you getting your books from and is there a good choice of books?

I'm still working my way through free books but it looks like there is a lot available. Plus, books in NZ are so expensive that I'm sure he would appreciate it.
