Is anyone actually collecting dedicated ebook Readers?

Some people do it with computers, with a whole basement devoted to (for example) Apple computers. (At one time, I had 8 different Apple computers, all working, along with Apple's first laser printer - and it weighed a tone!) - Just discovered this typo, but I think I'll leave it!

Anyway, back to this thread:

Since there has been an explosion in ebook Readers, I was wondering if anyone was trying to gather a Museum of Ebook Readers for the mania of collecting and to preserve a history of their evolution.

Funny enough I have thought about doing that very thing but I am going to wait till much later to start collecting them. No sense in paying too much for something that I am going to keep for the heck of it

Not me. I like the idea of an ebook reader because it would reduce the amount of physical stuff I tend to accumulate...

I have been collecting them since the Rocket eBook. Recently, it has become rather hard to keep up. So I have become more discriminate in my purchases. I may go back and get some of the ones I decided against purchasing when they get to the clearance level.

I never get rid of working devices and as all the readers I've bought over the year are still in working order...
