Calibre Website Timing Out
Is anyone else having problems getting on the Calibre website? I am trying to download the latest version so i can get the series info for all my books but i can't even seem to get to the website.

Kovid mentioned in another post that the calibre website has been getting a lot of traffic and he may have to look into setting up mirror sites.

Being in the UK, i will probably try it 1st thing tomorrow as then most of the US is asleep so hopefully should work a bit faster.

Good plan. Of course now 0.7.37 is out so you will fix getting the series info and avoid the many small bugs in 0.7.36. Sounds like a Win-Win situation.

Is anyone still having problems with this? I'm trying to run the installer for Linux and it's failing to download the tarball. What's interesting is that file is coming from Mobileread not calibre-ebook.com.

Try getting the files from sourceforge. It appears to use a different set of mirrors.

Chaley, I just tried it again using the default Linux installer and it worked fine, so it may have just been my VPS. Thanks anyway!
