Kindle 411

I've read comments about typing in 411 on the kindle to find ? info. Where do I type in 411?

Go to Menu, then Settings and type:
Alt + R Q Q (which is really 4 1 1) to get the status page.
Alt + Y Q Q for Wifi info
Alt + U Q Q for networking info

There are probably more, but they're the ones I know.

The first one should probably be

Alt + R Q Q (and it works whereas the typo does not)

Hmm, that's a good point FF2! I even read it back before posting and didn't spot the typo lol! Oh well, I am over 40, so can be excused

Well, with the k3, I was following your keystroke suggestion and failing to do anything. But the other two worked and then I realized the "symmetry" of the alt-commands and realized the 1 1 should be the repeat and it worked. And I'm well over 40 and 50 and somewhat over the next one!!!!

By they way, you should be able to EDIT your message and fix it which might simplify for others.

Age has nothing to do with it....I'm over 62 and still enjoying the learning process.

Just hang in there and keep trying. You'll get the hang eventually, and don't hesitate to ask for help.

I have to say, this is one of the nicest forums I have had the pleasure to be a member of. Especially since getting my Kindle, as I now know what everyone is talking about!
