Trade Kindle 2 for Kindle 3 leather cover

I received a latest generation Kindle for Christmas... but the cover was made for a previous generation Kindle... so I am just curious if anyone may have gotten the opposite? Just looking to trade straight across.

I'm not quite understanding your post.

Did you order the cover yourself from Amazon? If so, you can return it and get the current model.

If the cover was a gift the person who gave it to you can return it for you. No hassle.

I did buy it myself but I got it on sale, so now If I wanted the actual K3 case, I would have to pay twice the price. I figured this would be an easy swap if someone wanted it.
