Apple denies existence of iPad reader apps - MSNBC demurs
According to Apple, an iPad without iBooks can't be used to read books.
MSNBC Tech beat blogger left scratching his head:

Yeah but I bet that little statement will get a ton of people to install iBooks on their ipads and in turn generate more sales for apple...
